Sorry about the nubee questions.

It's hard to say which is finer grit, and I do agree that a coticule can do what a 4/8k does... but in my experience, and that of other people who I put great stock in, is that is just isn't as efficient or consistent. The coticule is, based on your reports, a good finisher. I would use it as such.
