Default Photos of heavy-duty hone lapping

Here's Adrspach and I lapping any number of hones. In the first one, Adrspach has a sanding belt sliced open and attached to a board on a backyard table. We needed all that room because the Charnely's are hard rocks and need a lot of love. He's using 80-120 grit belts.

I'm down on the steps with a granite plate and a stack of wet-dry paper from 240-2000 and I'm putting the final polish on them.

Default it's time to play Find the Pope in the Pizza...

ok gang.... who can find the hones!

Photo 1: There are four hones. If my memory serves we well (not always the case) there is a Rozsutec, a couple of Charnley's and another, either a TOS or a Thury.

Photo 2: Charnley Forest, prior to final polishing

Photo 3: four hones, probably CF, TOS, Thuries

    Photo 4: three hones

    Photo 5: five hones

...and a really sharp eye would find more.
