    This is not an Escher stone.Is a German Fuchs natural waterstone and is quite soft and smooth that you can use for straight razors,but is defenetly not an Escher![B]

    I wouldn't call anything that doesn't say Escher, Droescher or E&co. on it an Escher but a thuringian is a fair name for it! Thanks, Piet.

    I knew this particular Thuringian brand had come up before. I'm in the no label no Escher camp as well.
