Default how to use this or whats its for.

Ive been on this valet razor kick recently. In my recent purchase of hones I came across this one. How do I use it and whats it for? I seen the dish shaped ones for DE blades but never one with a V in it.

    Thanks David

Aren't those used to sharpen woodworking tools? Slipstones?

I have seen hones for DE blades that have similar shape but am not sure if the size is the same.

DE blades. You push down in the middle of the blade and hone along the vee. Back and forth then flip,

That would have to be *extremely* high grit to work with a DE. The ones I've seen are typically made of glass.

seems if you did slide it back and forth you would get results that varied more than the curved hone.

What's a "valet razor kick"? I'd like to do that, I think, but don't know how to get started.
