I noticed, that among coti stones green ones are hardest. What do you think?

Here is some more eye candy for you coticule lovers ..... looking at the second photo, the far left looks pinkish in the photos but it is egg shell white and a great fast fine natural. The next is a slate backed La Veinette from Ardennes with a creamy off white color. Third in line is a green natural that came to me from South Africa by way of Belgium. The internet makes for a small world. This stone is hard and slow with water only but sharpens well with slurry and finishes to a fine edge on water only. A huge natural with a yellowish hue and it is medium fast and fine. Finally the big daddy is pink/yellow natural and as one would expect it is fast but still leaves a fine edge. Enjoy.

Very beautiful stones. Recently I've lockated a very rear (from my point of view) coti - red-brownish color. It is in box and rather big, at least 100 years old, may be more. But the seller put such a price, that we bargain for last ten days. Money is one thing, I can imagine my disappointment if the stone is not good.

My congratulations. I know how it's difficult to stop buying razors and stones. I try to spend less time with these toys, but without serious success.
