I recall that Robert Williams, the custom razor maker, reported that he got some very good results using diamond spray on a UF.

That's why I bought one in the first place he said straight from bevel set to 50,000 grit diamond spray and he could do it. I tried hard to make it work and when I finally figured it out I realized that I disliked the edge as the hard spyrderco gave the full force of the diamond on the edge. I also found the system to be really inconsistent as others have.
