So I just got this beauty and I must say, I LOOOOOVE RENGE STONES! I once posted about how beautiful and versatile these stones are but DAMN! this one is a real keeper. It is soft, super smooth and just leaves a killer edge I don't think I have used another stone that leaves an edge this sharp and rate it at about 40k if not more. Whats really impressive about this stone is its ability to make huge jumps when paired with a thick slurry.

Supposedly the renge (dark red spots, in this case purplish red BTW) are what give these stones its speed, the slurry on it is bubblegum pink and boy is it fast! It was bought from Ken if you follow knife forums and I highly recommend you buy stones from him, the guy likes to please what can I say. Any question and whatnots are welcome.
