    Hello,
    Your help would be appreciated.
These hones came from a UK expat that wanted to trade for some tools I no longer used. The hones were brought across the pond by him. Thicknesses are 1 inch + on both.
The top one is a very very smooth slate like hone. Approximately 8k-12k
The lower one is a hard hone similar to a Arkansas and is about 1k-4k

The coffee like stains in the top remind me of my Hindostan. Check the sides for lines or sedimentary layers. A close-up would help if it's not a Hindostan. I don't think the Arkie at the bottom will be very useful for razors.
