Default Can I use Japanese water stone for my straight razor?

I have a Japanese water stone that I use for my Japanese kitchen knives. Can I use this for my straight razor? I believe it is 300 and 100 grit

That's a very low grit. I think they would only be useful for getting out major damage to the edge.

    No.
You want much higher grit than that.
Typically I never go below 1000. And that is just to set the bevel.
For sharpening I use 3-5000, and then polish on 10-15K grit stones.
After that i start the finishing of my razors....

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

There are lots of members listed in the classifieds that do an excellent job of honing razors for very reasonable prices. Honing knives is different than honing razors. There is a ton of info on these forums about what to use, how to use it, and what is the most economical. Good luck! Lots of fun.
