Thread: Distilled water vs. Tap water?

Be warned that if you leave it sitting in water, sometimes the glue can fail and the halves can separate. Also, your water and hone can get kind of slimy from various things growing in the water.

About mid-storm rain water. All the weather we have in Sonoma comes off the ocean and the rain is generally pretty clean, we are lucky that way, after a rain our cars still look good. But if you live in a major city the first few minutes or even hours of a sudden rain will contain airborne contaminates. I always just use an open bucket when it is really coming down hard. Alx
