    Default Mystery Stone (that got away)

    VINTAGE OAK CASED RAZOR STROP/STONE | eBay

    I missed this by two hours - in my watch list but stupidly didnt put in a bid. I would have liked a look at this for £10. It went for less.
    Anyone hazard a guess? Please don't tell me this is a coticule

    IMHO that is a translucent Arkansas stone.

    I missed it too. Wanted it for a friend and his chisels. Last week went through coti 7x1.5" for under £15. That did hurt more (too much of work). Nevermind will come agai. Another time and another stone.
