trying to fix this razor
so i brought this nice old razor, it has Ivory scales, and it made in germany. Now i was honing it for some time, with my 1000 grit. After i went to my 4k/8k combo stone
. but then i relied that towards the middle of the blade, its less sharpened then the rest. I don't know how i missed that spot, and hints in hour i can get the try to regain the edge there cuz i have been honing for hours.

Does the edge have a frown ?
Is your hone "dished" -- lower in the center, higher at the edges?
Either one could cause that result. Or the razor could be warped . . .

NO more worries, i just regained the edge and it is fine now, i just had a desent shave with it. Nothing special but better than before
