I have a little HAD kicking..I have seen on eBay a fellow called 330mate. Are his stones good? I have a hard time understanding his explainations on his different stones. Can one of you gents tell me the breakdown? Thanks

I have only bought one stone from him, and on that particular stone, the description was a bit off.
It has now been transferred to the kitchen-knives honing section
If I may, I'd suggest you check out Maxim's Japanese Naturals.
He describes his stones very well, and knows what a straight razor shaver is looking for in a rock.
The price level is also very pleasant.
Check him out on this website
Good luck taming the HADBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 1936Nor did I, but I think they are a member here. I've seen that picture of the Western Stones before...

Wintchase, I have just recently purchased a stone from 330mate. From what I understand it is more of a game of russian roullette in terms of what you will get, though he will reply back to you depending on what you ask.
If you have a search of this site, there is a lot of positive feedback regarding 330mate, his stones and his incredibly bad engrish descriptions of them.

Thanked: 1936I just wonder how many of the folks buying his stones really, I mean really, know how to use stones like we HAVE to, to get a razor where it should be?
