    Default New Hones (picture heavy )

    Got 3 new Naturals today

    First one is Huge Charnley very beautiful stone another ebay find
    size 275mm 65mm
    seems very very fine and super hard that one was a pain to flatten

    Second is rare Les Latneuses hybrid 175mm 40mm from Ardennes
    Maurice was very kind and picked very hard and fine for me !
    Hybrid side is super hard and surprisedly very fine and fast too give very mirror edge

    I just had to ad this one to my collection

    Chinese Hone got this one from theinvisibleedge
    Super cheap hone

    So fare it feels very smooth did not play with it yet but it is very fine hone indeed was not as hard as i was expecting more Thuri like feeling





    Thats it for now, i will get one huge coticule more and thats it for western stones i hope

    Thanks for sharing.
    I have a similar CF that I find to be a great finisher with oil.
    Keep us posted on how you find them in use

    You are acquiring too many hones! That coticule does it for me - what exactly is a hybrid side? Surely it is not a hybrid of BBW and coticule as it always seems to be finer than coticule alone.

    Maybe some coticule experts will answer that, honestly i don't know

    Love the CF's, but that coti is of quite a bit of interest...I've never seen one like that. Would love to hear more about it.

    It looks like the HAD is starting to get out of control! LOL.

    The stones look beautiful, I hope you enjoy them, I really love the big CF stone.
