As soon as my Shapton glass stone wears out I will have to get a Naniwa.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 522I do like the Naniwa SS but they seem to take longer to lap than the Shapton Glass stones. However I do get a lot of use out of the Naniwa 12k SS for touch-ups.

Congratulations. You got a great set of stones.
They are a staple in my collection.
Don't make the same mistake I did; make sure they dry completely before enclosing them. They can mold.

Good for you!
Your thread title sucked me back to my highschool days and a song I used to listen to a lot...something like...
Hones, hones, Hones...Yeah all I really want is hones...and in the morning it's hones...and in the evening it's hones. Back in the day...
If you dont' know what song I'm referring to, consider yourself blessed!
