Thread: Aloxite no. 200 British Made in Manchester

Received this today, won cheaply on Ebay (£4.71 delivered) due I suspect to a badly put together listing.

I've found some info on US made Aloxites but not the British made ones. Anyone anyone experience of them and how to get the best from them?

Congrats on the 200! I've got that exact hone and love it shamelessly. Just splash a bit of water on it and do 6 xstrokes and your blade is good for another month. I've taken mine on vacation and it worked so well that I had to stop taking it with me. Hahahaha... I like honing, touching up with six strokes was over too quickly, so mow I take a Coti. It's way more fun.

Funny, I grew up in Manchester and have been through Trafford Park many times.
