    Default chinese water stone...

    i just ordered one off ebay... 25$usd shipped for a alleged 12k stone.......

    i have read quite a bit on here about them... i really hope it performs as well as expected.....

    any advice? warnings? general ambivalence?

    lap the stone, and practice with a junk razor first. ask questions, read all you can, and when in doubt there is always that handy search located at the top of the page. good chance someone has already asked that question before. oh and take your time. no need to rush.
