Barberhones are very easy. They were used with water and not much is needed to make them ready for honing.

Well, I soaked it in gas, let dry and then let it soak in oven cleaner. I then boiled it and finally lapped it. It turned out great and is now ready for action. Many thanks to you all. Best and Happy Shaving, wildhog
