    Thanks for those links Shooter, I think I'll order one of those to try out. If worse comes to worse they will make good doorstops.

    those are too slow and can release grit while honing on them , that can cause shipping on the edge.

    Thanks for the links. Now I know that I already have the Amakusa Red and tonite I ordered the Amakusa White. These should work with my Aoto & other natural Japanese stones. Now I have a full progression.
