    Default Lapping a Chosera 1k with a Norton Flattening stone ?

    Hi all ..

    I received my Chosera 1k .. and I have a Norton flattening stone that I normally use on my Norton 4k/8k .. will it do the trick also for my Naniwa ?

    any advice will be appreciated .. thanks

    Yes, that flattening stone will do just fine

    Yes, well unless your flattening stone needs lapping too!

    I read somewhere that I can keep the lapping stone flat using a 220 sandpaper .. is that ok ?

    That should work fine. You'll have green slurry everywhere. Especially under your finger nails. LOL

    Yeah, as long as you use the sandpaper on something truly flat, like glass or tiles.
