I have a nakayama maruichi asagi as well.
They are super hard, takes forever to get slurry with a nagura. I am looking for a fine but softer tomo nagura now to use with it.

Still learning to use it. I can touch up a kamisori by strop stroking on it with just water. Still learning to use it, taking so much longer than learning my coti! It is crazy hard. Its not easy to get a slurry on it with anything other than a DMT. Probably should have started with something a little softer
