finally my collection is (somewhat) complete!

After buying and selling and rebuying a ton of japanese naturals my collection has reached a point where it is boiled down to very very nice and unique stones
that absolutely suit my needs and perform the way I like it best. The last missing piece was one of those elusive (or rather expensive) Nakayama.
So, thanks to my good friend Maxim from japanesenaturalstones, here it is!

My vintage Nakayama Maruka (stamp faded)

Shown in this picture is my Nakayama (approx. 200x75mm) with true Nakayama Tomo-Nagura and Mejiro-Nagura.

This particular Nakayama has a light eggshell color with hints of blue and even yellow.
The surface shows some Nashiji as well.

If anyone wants to discuss the strata and correct colour (ie. is it asagi? or kiita?) please be my guest.

The stone is super huge and feels extremely nice. I specifically chose this stone because it is not too hard and not too soft but just right.
I usually create mud with the Mejiro which creates a nice slurry that finishes fast and very keen. With water only after a nice finishing stone like a good 8k
the stone excels and gives an edge that is incredibly sharp yet smooth to the face.

This stone probably is my favorite J-Nat when it comes to my razors. Very very good. Thanks Maksim!
