Thanked: 90Got two more lapped today. The first is another Okudo with a cool mokume Iromono pattern similar to a larger stone I have. This one has kawa on all three long sides plus some in the crevice at the end.
The second is an experiment of sorts. These are sword polishers and the second stone is a Narutaki koppa from Nakayama. Usually made into finger stones or polishing powder. These are supposed to be the finest stones so I wanted to try a koppa and maybe some nagura. Seems unnaturally fast so far.

Here's a size 60 (190x70) with an unusual 'suminagashi' pattern stone. It's a greenish-grey asagi type. Suminagashi means ink pattern and refers to the marbled art papers. It's quite hard and produces a wonderfully smooth edge. It's performed well on everything so far.
Cheers, Steve
