I would not throw the razor away. Just have it honed again. For me, most stuff, the longer in use, the more emotional value it gets.

As a matter of fact if money were no object I'd have a staff to find every available razor in the world and buy them all. Then you would have to come to me and buy at my prices-har har.

I would buy all the "rustic" coticules on The Superior Shave website. I LOVE those stones.
