It's no doubt a mexican hone, or some other illegals who do not have a proficiency in the use of prepositions. No doubt it ought to say 'Made by US", not "Made in US", unless they have got a rather unusual diet.

Mistaking US for U.S.A. is highly improbable, I just calculated the entropy with 5 characters and 26+12=38 possibilities for each - not enough monkeys ever living on this Earth to make that typo even half probable.

This looks like a vintage Coticule.
