Chosera 1K out of stock
Does anyone know of a Chosera vendor in the US besides SRD, ChefKnivestogo and Jende? I decided to buy one and SRD and ChefKnivestogo are out of stock. Jende only has the 1/2 thickness version.

Just an alternative solution the Shapton 1K is great for bevels and almost half the price of the Choresa 1K.

Thanked: 1936I've got Shapton 500, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, & 30K...still use the Chosera 1K exclusively for bevel set on the straights, seems to be a lot easier on the spines and really fast with a light slurry. I then go to the 2K shapton for about 10-20 passes before the 4K.

Naniwa 'Chosera' waterstone, #1000. : Tools from Japan, Japanese woodworking tools direct from Japan.
I have never used them for anything else before but the price was good.
Looking forward to setting a few bevels.
