Just a thought....
Nasa are off to Mars tomorrow. Does any one have any connections at NASA we could ask to use their influence to bring us back some rocks. Imagine the possibility for all those new naturals.
I cant think of a better reason to explore space than to aid our passion.

Thanked: 1587You mean you don't have one yet? Wow, I don't know how you manage to get any kind of edge at all on any of your razors!

Nah, here on Earth there are millions of unknown quarry sites, why go to Mars for them? When all of them are depleted, we can send an expedition from SRP's space program. Shotgun!

I've been honing with the Light Red Mars Stone and the Dark Red Mars Stone for years. They are somewhat slow cutters and come in at 9K and 14K respectively. They must be lapped with a special Brown Mars Stone that comes in at 350 grit. Those who have shaved with the razors that I have honed on these stones find the resulting shaves almost "spacey" in comparison to razors honed on other natural stones. The only problem with the edges is that the bevels tend to erode quickly in sandstorms, and the shaves can vary from hot to cold.

In all reality, Mars rocks would probably make good finishers due to the high content of fine iron oxide and powdered quartz crystals.

Given the pyramids on Mars photos and the pyramid honing method I'm sure there is a pun/joke in there somewhere but after a night at SWA (Scottish Wrestling Alliance) I'll be damned if I can think of one
