Cool idea. I applaud ingenuity - practical or othewise. I like this concept.. I can see how a self-contained system with a filter in-line would be ideal for those who can't use the kitchen sink area to hone.
One additionall thought - a t-fitting with a second hose with a nozzle on it. That way you could hose off the razor without having to do it over the hone, or clear/wet the entire stone faster/evenly.

Thanked: 2027AH yes,ye old S.C.H.S (self contained Honing station) added a 40 Micron filter today,see how long it filters.
garden section (drip irrigation) has all sorts of trick valves,nozzles etc,just havin some fun

Am I not honing on microscopic swarf and slurry? dunno.Am I flushing that stuff away?(if it exsists) I think so.
Will this blade shave any better?dunno, find out when I shave tomorrow.
