Norton flattening stones are fine, IMO, IF they are flat. It takes a half life from a DMT to get them flat, after a few sessions. After you take the half-life from the DMT, the DMT becomes the perfect flattening device. The Norton flattening stone is then relegated to knives, lawnmower blades, etc.
