I have one but looks a little diff. Use some scotch brite on the surface with dish deturgent to clean it. Then you can see if it might need lapping. I have been experimenting with it. It will be fine when your razor get a little dull. I think its around the 2-4k level depending on how you lap it.

Oh nice purchase by the way

From what you can tell by looking at the pics, would it seem to be on the fine or coarse side?

So with a middle grit, would I have to worry about it leaving too many scratches? I've read on here how the Aloxite #200 is compared to Swaty's.

Well not sure about that. I have 2 Aloxite one is courser than the other. The other is smooth. As smooth as a my lower swaty but i have another swaty that is finer. Very hard.

It will be great for refreshing the edge. You might have to go with something a bit higher other wise it will be a rough shave.

Again wont know for sure till you clean it up and see if it needs to be lapped. Does it look like it has been used?

I looked at the picture again. The front should clean up nicely with scotch brite and dish det.

It says its been used on the ebay page. I also have a Chinese 12k on the way as well, so touch up on the Aloxite and finish on the Chinese 12k?
