Who is Lynn?
I currectley send my razor to a shop that Dovo uses which is in the mid-west, I live in Massachusetts and wasn't sure if maybe this "Lynn" was closer.

I lapped my Frictionite barber hones. Believe it or not they were out of whack. I used the glass top on the electric stove and it worked great!

Welcome to SRP. Here is my two cents worth. OK, it will cost a little more than that.
Razor: DOVO 5/8" full-hollow in carbon or stainless (less maintenance)
Brush: Badger
Strop: 3" Latigo
Stone: 12K Naniwa super-stone
Optional: I like the edge refinement of CrO on balsa or strop before stropping

Lynn has personally honed over 40k razors (Yes, that is 40 THOUSAND) He knows what he is doing..
