Naniwa split
Last night I was putting away my stones after leaving them to dry after laster honing session.
When I picked up my Naniwa SS 3/8 it split in half, and I now have one 3K and one 8K stone.
I suppose this is caused by oversoaking the stone, in the beginning I used to leave it in water for several hours at the time and this have made the bonding brake.
What do you suggest?
Should I try to glue them back together or will it be better to make a base for each one and glue them to it.
I do have some 4mm aluminum I can cut to the right size.Need help or tutoring? Check out the .
