I have just the one Nakayama Kiita and a Nakayama Kiita like stone, the first one pictured is my go to stone.

It's slightly bigger than what one would normally hold in their hand but I have finished with it just holding and it's not bad but then I don't usually spend more than 5-6 mins finishing using just a few sets of circles and end with X strokes on a hint of slurry. Originally Posted by Christian1

Finally got a kiita. Was told it was from nakayama, came with a wooden base with 1966 on the back. Either way though the stone is really awesome, it has been giving me edges close to my oozuku. Glad to add it to the jnat collection
8 1/2” (5 1/2” shortest) x 3” with 1 1/2” of thickness (couldn’t find other ruler so inches it is)Last edited by Christian1; 11-12-2017 at 10:12 PM.

Maruka kiita tamagoiro. Not perfectly flat as you can see in the right bottom corner. Also one of the bottom corners was cut out.
Even though I got this stone months ago I just realized it has a small stamp under the maruka one, looks like a hatanaka symbol per Fikira's website.
