Thanked: 3Blue Chinese 12k hone?
I've been reading a lot about the Chinese 12k hones and everyone describes them as blue-gray and I would agree from the pics I have seen. What's up with this Chinese 12k hone, that to me is decidedly blue: New Chinese Water Hone / Waterstone for Straight Razor | eBay
Is this just like all the other blue-gray Chinese hones out there, or is there something different about this one (better or worse)? Thanks for any help.

Mine is green, given the high kryptonite content. I just get so weak and wobbly when I hone with it.....
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

I bought one of those, and it's not blue at all, rather dark grey to black.
Need help or tutoring? Check out the .
