I wonder how many of those barbers went to the stone instead of the strop wanting to make fast work of it. 4-6 stroke versus the 30-50 to strop.

I have used the 1/4 Norton and with Larry's direction have had success. That being said "my way" may not be the most popular way but it works for me. Thats what thias site is all about. People who join together to share their experiences in wetshaving.
