DMT and other brands?
I don't have much right now, and was wondering if any of you have had good results with the cheaper diamond hones other than the DMT. I want one basically to help create slurry and to keep my stones flat. Any help would be appreciated.

Sand paper works great to lap stones.
For slurry you can get a 2.5" perforated DMT.
I have also heard very good things about Diaface Moonflex plates.Stefan

Yeah I have been doing fine with sandpaper. Just wanted something easier to use, and the diamond hones seem alot easier for slurry with my c-nat.

DMT for slurry get a little card one works great!! for lapping sandpaper on a flat surface is hard to beat! I have 3 big dmt 8x3 coarse, fine and superfine that i use for woodworking chisel planes etc and dont really use them for razors or lapping. A DMT
325 card is very cheap and will last a long long time.
