    its quite long, for hand honing i'd be tempted to trim it down, but see how it feels , your chioce .

    There is no way on the world I would cut that stone. It looks too sweet as it is.

    Can you show the sides of the stones? It looks like the BBW side is coming through, if that's the case I would return it.

    That's not BBW. It's been called blushing. I have a slurry stone just like it.

    Well, I bought it based on Jarrods reputation here..He said the stone should last at least 40 years with consistent use.. I don't get it

    Basil that is not BBW showing through, see my above post. It's a characteristic of the vein.

    Even if it only lasts 5 years..for $105, Im more worried about, size and dimension because I'm new, and don't want to ruin my razors..if you guys think the size and shape will safely work for me being new at this, that's good for me. Jarrod seemed very kind and helpful, I doubt he would've sold me a bum coticule.
