Thread: Framebacks Hones

Hi,

Just wanted to create a own thread with posting my hones, I only have a few, and get some feedback on them.
Ill update the hones info one at the time with some time inbetween.

Lets start with:


Franz Swaty hone

Looks like a 2 line swaty, stated Swaty, Mariburg, Austria.
What is interesting, I have never seen this on any other Swaty hone, is the side markings: One side stating "Old Swaty hone" and the side back stating "Made in Yugoslavia". Intersting. I have seen swaty hones stating mariburg, Yugoslavia but carved in the front instead of Austria.
Both my parents came very young to Sweden from the old country Yugoslavia.
