Had lots of fun today honing...
I got my DMT lapping hone from SRD today in the mail and I got my hones lapped and in better shape. They were less than flat and the norton lapping stone just would not do the job. After that I took my razors through the 40 circles and then on through the progression on 4K then 8K norton and 12K Naniwa then the crom oxide then cotton webbing then red latigo.
I am super excited about my shave in the morn. I am still a novice but out of the 5 razors I got honed at least 1 one them should be shave ready!

Must be something in the air, Today is my 2nd day of honing on my new norton im83 portable whetstone kit and 12 k stone. Got 2 razors shave ready, gonna try one tomorrow evening.
