    hi all i found a 800 grit diamond hone in a m8s shed,can i use this to beval set ?

    Yes you can, just don't use any pressure.

    i would think so if you only use it for setting a bevel

    I quess that depends.
    If the quality of the stone is good, of course you can.
    But since you donīt know what you have the stone might very well do some damage to your razor,
    that you will have to repair with another stone. I suggest you try the diamond hone with a kitchen knife first
