Just wanted to show ya what i worked on this weekend Tim. This one wasn't as uniform in color as I wanted but it seems to work pretty good, but this was the biggest piece I could find at the moment. It's pretty darn hard for siltstone, spent several hours lapping it and I'm not quite done yet.

There's old slate mines south of Duluth, I'm going up there sometime this spring/summer and check it out
