Hi guys, im got this stone pretty cheap and was wondering if anyone know if i can actually use it to hone a straight.

I've never seen one before, but label says is a fine combination stone ( synthetic ) to hone every kind of tools, you can use it with water, oil or petroleum and every stone is warrented. I don't know if is good for razor, maybe the white side ( that I believe is fine ). Try it and let us know.

this is siliciumcarbit Stone....Lapport has the best Stones for siliciumcarbit.... other manufacturers have a lot of impurities. You need silciumcarbit from Lapport for Slurry by the Arkansas Stone. Ist is the best. 320 grit...
