Default 1900's Escher's swaty & others catalog page.

At a certain time in history you could just order the Escher you like and get one or two!

Certainly a common hone in it's day if one considers the bargain price.

The swaty on the bottom is .60 or the Escher at .75, not quite todays prices for sure!

Very cool. I've been hoping to see a catalog photo of eschers for years. I forget who posted this price list originally and I have no idea what the date of publication was, but here is an old price list. What is interesting to me is the price differentialName: escherprices.jpg
Views: 2791
Size: 56.0 KB between the colored eschers, with the y/g being far more expensive than the rest, and the "Barber's Delight" leading the pack.

Another i just realize about this chart is the difference between a 6" stone to a 10" stone is about 4 times more expensive.

It was I. It is from "Pike Sharpening Stones and Abrasive Specialties", catalogue No. 11 from 1918, page 67. On the top of the page (which also lists Belgian Razor Hones, = Coticules) it reads: "Importations Suspended during European War".
