Hi everybody,
Grinding and Honing part 2 is extended by 5 pages.
Sometimes I was asked why I look so extensively to the fracture surface of a sandstone. This is due to the influence of silicic acid on the binding of the quartz grains. I explane its effect on sharpening stones and the originating of Chalcedony, Jasper, Jade and Beryl.
Chapter 5g Lapping machine is extended with a whetstone flattening machine.
Keep them sharp!
Henk
