Thread: Learning to hone

I recently purchased the complete Naniwa SS set and a DMT lapping plate. I was all set to destroy some razors. Lucky me though I had the pleasure and privilege to spend several hours today with Lynn Abrams. I feel I learned more in those few hours than if I had just jumped in blindly. I know I still have a long way to go, but practise makes perfect. I will be happy with shave ready though.
So, if you have a chance to spend time learning from Lynn, TAKE IT! I don't have a decent digital camera yet, but asap I will pick one up and post pics of razors as I go along. I am looking forward to restoring and honing as many as I can.
So, Lynn, if you read this my wife and I thank you for a fun and informative day.
