    Default Hone ID Help Please

This stone is 8 1/4" x 2" and stands 3/4" above the top of the box. It was covered in dirt and oil, and the photo shows the stone nearly completely lapped with a DMT 120. It is a fine stone. Is it a Turkish Oil stone? Thanks.

Could very well be a Hindostan if it has layers on the sides?

Here is a photo of the side, partially cleaned. I do see layers, so that would be indicative of a Hindostan?

Doesn't have any names or numbers engraved on the back does it? Hondostan stone was also used for grave stones.
