Well, I don't remember any Escher auction ending last night. Is it possible my eagle eyes have failed me? Let's get a link and some pics, so I can be supremely jealous of you. lol. And yes, I will be supremely jealous of you. Congratulations on your new stone!

    Pics or it didn't happen

Johnus, I assume you're referring to their Coticule slurry stones. I wouldn't use them on a Thuringian/Escher. You would get a Thuri/Coti mix and the abrasive Coti particles would dominate because of their bigger size. A DMT card or a Guangxi slurry stone would work. There are alternatives but probably either more expensive or harder to find.

So you're the one that bought the Dark Blue Droescher. Congratulations! It looks like a very nice stone. I just bought a Dark Blue Escher and I am extremely happy with it. Enjoy your stone!

Ok,yep. I know that one. It ended while I was at school. I spoke to the seller a couple times. He's a member here, there, or somewhere on the shaving forums. Let us know what you think of that size. It was a great looker in the pics. I think it'll impress you! Congrats!

    Just a matter of priorities.
