    Hey

The only place you can buy norton stones in Australia is Lie-Nielsen toolworks.

I could not see if they deliver to NZ. However if you contact them I am sure they could work something out for you!!
Of course this is if you dont find anything locally that is.

    Good luck

To be honest your best bet would be to do what the rest of us Antipodeans do when it comes to razor-friendly stones: try to fluke a lucky snag in antiques stores or estate sales etc, or order from overseas and get them shipped. That's not to say you won't find anything locally, but if you are getting into restorative honing and so on it is very unlikely you'll find stones that specialised in a bricks and mortar down here.

Another option if nothing's available locally is toolsfromjapan.com. He's got the usual suspects (Shapton, Naniwa) and the Sigma Power stones, which are very well regarded amongst the woodworking folk but not well known to us razor types.

For some reason, it seems less crazy to me to ship stones from Japan to NZ than from Japan to the US, though it's probably about the same distance. Time zones or something.

The 4k/8k combo is $125AUD which is $162NZD at the moment. Not sure how much shipping would be however.

That combo stone is available in the U.S., on several internet sites, for about USD$80 (about NZD$110).

You would know best about shipping/customs/etc. Do the math.
