Default Pics of My New Jnat

It's a Shoubudani Mizo Asagi Lv 5+, 198 X 70 X 22 mm, with a nagura. Still needs to be lapped, smoothed, and varnished. i tried to finish my razor on it this morning, first with a little slurry, and then plain water. 50 laps each. it was a nice smooth shave! Also link to actual stone i acquired:

    Great looking hone, congratulations!

Do keep us posted on how you find it once you have played around with it a bit

Are you planning on using any Nagura progression on it, or are you thinking more of using it solely as a finisher?

    PatPat,

Nice looking stone!! I've got a mild case of Jnat want...have had for awhile. Eventually!
I wish they could afford enough ink to stamp both sides of these so it could be preserved!

    Enjoy the stone!!

    Regards,

    Howard

i would also like to say that Maxim at JNS was very helpful when deciding which stone to get, and with a few technical questions afterward. he tests all the stones, which is important! good experience at JNS.
