Default Got my self a cheap Thuringian Water Hone

    Hello,

I got my self a small Thuringain water hone for cheap price as well, I used it and it hones really well. Paid just £20 for it including postage came the next day. The seller sold it to me because for £20 because part of it was broken off. I can clearly use both sides and he even throw in slurry stone for me. I just watched one of these go for £47 last night on ebay.

Tell me you think? Good purchase? I just checked the seller web site taylors1000 he has two good Thuringain hone for £45.
    Thanks
    Uncle George

Well you just cant go wrong with a thuringian (vintage or escher) Im sure it will be a wonderful finisher for you.
About the price paid for it, its low for a thuri but that stone got some major chunk missing on the bottom and some on top as well.
Nevertheless its definately usable and will outlive you for sure!

    If it's indeed a Thuringian then I think it's a good deal.
